Andy Kim’s Grassroots Movement Shows Its Strength as FDU Poll Confirms Wide Lead in The Race for U.S. Senate

MOORESTOWN N.J. - A new poll of likely Democratic primary voters conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson University shows Congressman Andy Kim leading First Lady Tammy Murphy by 12 points and leading indicted Senator Bob Menendez by 23 points. The poll is another in a series of polls since Kim entered the race to show him with a double digit advantage over his primary competitors.

“These results echo what we’ve seen at every event and in every conversation I’ve had throughout our state,” said Congressman Andy Kim. “People are fired up and ready for change. They are sick and tired of the out of touch political elite deciding who represents them in Washington and want their voices heard. This isn’t just a campaign, it’s a grassroots movement to make sure that working families, not just the well-off and well-connected, have a champion in the Senate. I’ve proven I can deliver for the people of New Jersey, I’ve proven I can win the toughest political fights in this state, and with the help of grassroots voters, I’ll give the people of New Jersey a voice that fights for them in the U.S. Senate.”

The poll conducted between January 21 and January 28, 2024 of likely Democratic primary voters showed that Congressman Kim is leading all opponents with respondents across liberal, moderate, and progressive ideologies within the Democratic Party and has a higher approval rating than First Lady Murphy.

Andy is battle-tested by beating multiple self-funding millionaires in a district carried by President Trump. In his three terms in Congress, Andy has deep experience in working to deliver for the people of New Jersey, including to lower prescription drug costs and to improve health care for veterans. He has been a leader in fighting against corruption in politics.
